No Sidewalk, No Problem

Our social story teaches your autistic child how to safely walk on the street when there is no sidewalk whether it's to Trick-or-Treat or exercise.

No Sidewalk, No Problem:
Sometimes we will go for a walk around our neighborhood. It could be to exercise, Trick-or-Treat, or see holiday lights.
If the neighborhood does not have a sidewalk, I need to be extra careful.
I will hold the hand of the adult in my group to make sure I am safe.
As we walk on the street, I will stay on the side closest to the houses. I will follow instructions and not run when we are on the street.
If a car is approaching, I will calmly let it pass by.
Walking around the neighborhood is fun when I am walking safely with an adult.Download Now!
