Snow Storm Brownies
Whether you're celebrating a snow day or just looking for a great opportunity for your autistic kiddo to practice fine motor skills, this more advanced recipe perfectly captures the snow from outside without any of the cold! Ingredients:
1 stick and 2 tbsp butter
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 cup white chocolate chips
Powder sugar Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and prepare your baking pan with parchment paper.
Over medium-low heat, melt your butter in a saucepan. Be careful not to let it brown.
Once melted, assist your kiddo in mixing in the sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt.
Set the pan aside for 5 minutes to allow it to cool down.
Once the batter is no longer too hot, assist your kiddo in adding 2 cold eggs. Add one at a time and stir it in completely before adding the next one.
Add flour to the pan and stir until it’s well combined before adding the white chocolate chips.
Spread your batter into your baking pan. It will be thick, and you’ll need to assist your kiddo in spreading it evenly in the pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. You’ll want the edges to look crisp, but not the middle.
Cool your finished brownies in the fridge for about an hour. Once cool, sprinkle your brownies with powdered sugar and cut to enjoy!Download Now!
