Trace-out Leaf Wreath
Let’s decorate for Fall and practice fine motor skills! This festive craft allows your autistic kiddo to practice tracing and cutting skills as they create their festive wreath. What You’ll Need:
Leaf and Acorn Printout
Pencil
Scissors
Construction paper (orange, brown, green, and red)
Glue
Glitter, sequins, stickers (optional) Instructions:
Print out BPI’s Leaf and Acorn Printout.
Cut the leaves and acorn guides from the sheet. Feel free to trace each one before cutting it out for more guidance.
Place your tracing guides on the construction and use a pencil to trace out the shape. Repeat this on different colors of construction paper.
Cut out each of your leaves and acorns, then set them aside.
On brown construction paper, draw a half circle and cut it out. Repeat with a second piece of paper.
Draw a slightly smaller half circle inside each and cut it out.
Glue the ends of your paper together to create a donut-shaped piece of construction paper. This will be the base of your wreath.
Build your wreath by gluing your leaves and acorns on the circle base. Try mixing the colors and add any additional decorations you'd like.Download Now!
