Gearing Up for the Snow In the wintertime, we might get a lot of snow. Snow is pretty to look at and fun to play in, but it is also very cold. I need to wear my snow gear to enjoy being outdoors when it snows. I will wear my:
Winter hat
Gloves
Pants
Winter coat
Snow boots Snow gear is heavier than my regular clothes, but it keeps me safe and warm in the cold weather. To make sure I stay warm, I will not take off any of my snow gear without asking an adult first. If I take my gear off, I will get too cold and have to go inside. Being cold can make my skin red or make it burn. When I wear my snow gear, I can play outside and enjoy the snowy day!
