Going to a Holiday Party I’m going to a holiday party! At a holiday party, we can see friends and family gathered to celebrate the holiday together. Holiday parties are not always on the day of the actual holiday. Sometimes they can be before or after. At the party, they may have: People dressing in holiday attire Fun snacks to eat Games to play Holiday music playing If the party is too loud, I can wear my headphones or take a break in another room. Depending on the holiday, we might also exchange gifts. If I receive a gift, I can say or sign “Thank you!” If I give a gift and someone says, “Thank you!” I can say or sign “You’re welcome!” There might also be a big dinner that we eat at the holiday party.
